The VODvision Mission

The mission of VODvision AB is to support successful TV operators, primarily in Europe, increase competitiveness and revenues by exploring the possibilities of Push TV. VODvision AB offers VODvision platform and services for end to end solutions for Push TV.

“In a short time and with the increasing storage capacity of Personal Video Recorders, the interest amongst operators for push-TV services has grown strong. Push-TV is particularly suitable to overcome network bandwidth limitations, such as in digital terrestrial networks and ADSL IPTV or Cable TV networks, or in networks without a return channel, such as broadcast networks and DTH-satellite. Push-TV opens for VOD services, HDTV and virtual channels to operators of such networks, up till now not being possible for them to implement.”

VODvision has been received with enthusiasm by providers of systems and operators who have concluded that a link is missing to provide pushVOD platforms. VODvision will provide that missing link.
